A door with a "Walk-in" stencil, ajar with blurred artwork on the wall in the background. There is a light blue and purple hue to the image creating an inviting feeling.

A swan (named Harry), looks at the camera. Only the front half of the swan is in view.
A burnt out car in the middle of a hiking trail, covered in snow. Nothing is left except the metal of the vehicle, having been set on fire, and the image shows half the front profile of the car.
A black and white image of a person in a wet suit on a hoverboard, surfing on calm water in the winter. The surfer is silhouetted against a silvery water background, and three pillars are in the foreground, two of which have a seagull perched on them. The surfer and seagulls all face left.

Rowan has short brown messy hair, a beard and moustache, and fair skin. He is wearing sunglasses and a green plaid collared shirt while taking a photo of himself with a beach behind him.

Who am I?

A library nerd, an accessibility expert, a dad to two dogs and a cat, a partner, and — you guessed it — photographer. One of my favourite activities is hiking with my dogs and taking photos along the way. What drew me to photography is finding the small details in moments that are easily missed. Narrowing my focus encourages me to slow down, breathe deeply, and quiets fast thoughts. I like to share my photos to share a different perspective, because we all have a unique way of looking at the world. This is just a small window into my lens, and I hope it resonates with you.
